DEDU coffee table is a second collaboration of HEIMA architects and jot.jot, also a follow-up of MUDU mirror. The tables together with other jot.jot products will be presented in Stockholm design week.
Tables are characterized by the slim steel legs with wooden tips that were inherited from a MUDU mirror. DEDU coffee tables come in 4 different sizes and a set of colours with an extra layer of high resistance finishing. Homogenous look of tabletop and the leg structure emphasizes the slender shape instead of material. Although the table is made of different materials, the color creates a uniform material-less look. The paint hides away the differences in MDF tabletop and steel legs thus enhancing the look of the table as a uniform entity. Only the leg tips constantly remain natural wood, regardless of the color.
The variations of sizes and heights allows to arrange tables in groups.
The edge of the table was designed softly curved to make it impossible to resist touching it.
